Former Mountain View landfill purchased by BGP (Bill Graham Presents) in 1986 with a capacity of 25,000 ticket holders.
NOTORIOUS during the first couple years of operation for methane gas induced flare-ups whenever someone would spark-up!
The venue has the appearance of a ‘circus big tent’ towering above the primary stage area, with large video monitor screens & amphitheater seating spreading upwards & outwards with grass turf beyond to the fence row.
Rating:
Excellent soundsystem.
Excellent sightlines & comfortable seating.
Abundent restrooms & expensive concessions.
