The Casualties are a band, formed in the early 1990s in New York, NY. Their first offering was their signature EP “40 0z. Casualty”. It has had an ever-changing cast of musicians with only the lead singer Jorge remaining from the original lineup.

The band’s first demo was recorded in 1990. The band began as an effort to bring back the sound and style of many bands (also known as uk82) such as Blitz, The Partisans, One Way System and The Exploited. The band is known to have coined the term “spiky-haired drunk punks.” Although their albums and merchandise were widely distributed through what some call ‘questionable’ media, by credibility standards, their music and attitude has remained virtually the same and true to their uk82 and roots. Die Hards fans of the band from their early stages and those who appreciate the value of their music shrug off the subtleties of their success as their attitudes and loyalties have remained the same and are seen as to deserve the success after working so hard at doing what they love.

The Casualties’s assembly consists of:
Jorge - vocals
Jake - guitar
Rick - bass
Meggers - drums
