The band’s first demo was recorded in 1990. The band began as an effort to bring back the hardcore punk sound and style of many british hardcore punk bands (also known as uk82) such as Blitz, The Partisans, One Way System and The Exploited. The band is known to have coined the term “spiky-haired drunk punks.” Although their albums and merchandise were widely distributed through what some call ‘questionable’ media, by punk credibility standards, their music and attitude has remained virtually the same and true to their uk82 and oi roots. Die Hards fans of the band from their early stages and those who appreciate the value of their music shrug off the subtleties of their success as their attitudes and loyalties have remained the same and are seen as to deserve the success after working so hard at doing what they love.
The Casualties’s assembly consists of:
Jorge - vocals
Jake - guitar
Rick - bass
Meggers - drums

i love the casualties but definitely agree with simridley. Image is anti-punk.

This band makes me lol... yeah, the perfect embodiment of punk is to dress up in your punk uniform to look like everybody else. Bunch of fuckin tools who need to stop copying the styles of the past and going out of their way to brand themselves.

Its true the new albums seem to attract a lot of 14 yr old kids (& with them the tard-wits who say 'sell-out' a lot). But i don't give a fuck, i like it for what it is. I can appreciate a band with a more progressive sound rather than just reiterating the same tired shit they've already done before (& better). You like the early years? Go & fucking listen to the early years then, shitcakes.

I enjoy the racket these cunts make but really... whats up with the lyrics and the stupid clothes? Plus a large proporation of there fanbase consists of 13 year old boys who's idea of Anarchy is staying up past 11 and eating cookies while listening to Rancid (crap band). I'm not saying there not punk though.

Their latest album was kind of disappointing. The oldest songs by them seem to have the least editing and the most raw energy.

Not really, their best album is the "Who's In Control? EP", just because of "4Q" and "Up The Punx".
