Eminem, (born Marshall Bruce Mathers III on October 17, 1972), is one of today’s most popular and controversial rappers.

Eminem’s first album was entitled Infinite and was highly criticized. Before releasing the album, he had a lot of underground tracks that spanned multiple mixtapes. Eminem’s early work involved rapping about mostly drugs and getting bullied. He was heavy into the underground freestyle circuit, competing and winning in many competitions.

In February of 1999 once he’d hit the mainstream he soon released The Slim Shady LP. The album sold 283,000 copies its first week. To date, the album has been certified 4x Platinum.

In May 2000 he released The Marshall Mathers LP, and the first single released from it (PlayThe Real Slim Shady) was a huge hit. During the first week, it sold 1,760,049 copies, becoming the fastest-selling rap album in history, more than doubling the previous record held by Snoop Dogg’s 1993 debut Doggystyle. Other singles from the album include The Way I Am and Stan.

In 2002 he released The Eminem Show, in 2004 Encore and in 2005 Curtain Call: The Hits.

Eminem also has his own record label, Shady Records (a sublabel of Aftermath Records), 50 Cent is signed to his record label on a joint venture between Dr. Dre’s Aftermath and Eminem’s Shady Records.

Not only does he produce and write music, but he also starred in his own movie based mostly on his own experiences growing up in Detroit entitled 8 Mile. As well as this he is a member of the rap group called D12 (Dirty Dozen) consisting of himself, Swifty McVay, Kon Artis, Kuniva, Bizarre, and the late Proof.

Lmfao, shut the fuck up and take necro's dick out of you. There is no comparison, I appreciate you trying to act underground by liking him - but no. He isn't even a good underground MC compared to all the other people out there, you're just fooled by his shitty fake machine gun rap - if you want people who do that well listen to rugged man, g rap or kane. Eminem is 50 times the MC Necro will ever be, anyone who disagrees is a retard.

Necro>>>>>>>>>>>Post 2003 Eminem. Pre 2003 Eminem>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>~/5325634/~~>>>>>>>>>>Necro. Necros beats>>>>>>>>>>~~/346353/~~>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Better than any em has made. I have now cleared it up hopefully. Oh, And Aesop Rock isn't that bad, You just have to realize that he is not classified as standard hip hop, Saying he is dope or wack at it is like comparing the Beatles to a Death Metal group(Both Sub Genres of Rock)

Age has nothing to do with it, I can pretty much guarantee you didn't know who Necro was 6+ years ago. There isn't a single level that Necro is better than Eminem, you're not even going to get away with "it's just my opinion" either because you're plain wrong, it would be like somebody saying soulja boy is better than rakim, it's retarded.

you just dont understand it, it isnt about who's commercial or underground, he obviously is a lot better with the rappin. Em is the shit, no doubt, and It isn't about his level of fame, it's his level of skill, and how much it's faded since he became a pop rapper. ja rule, aesop rock and lil wayne all suck. hahaha, chances are thats very untrue considering how hugely massive our age difference is. scene? haha retarded people are funny

Yeah, the first single won't be like my name is/the real slim shady/without me/just lose it -stuff... I think people don't wanna hear that shit no more. I just wish Royce and Dre -tracks and maybe Fifty & Lloyd Banks if they can top "Don't Push Me". #13 track probly featuring Dina Rae. I read that there's a rumor that Tech N9ne might be on the album, but who knows. Patiently waiting to hear that DJ Premier track..

Yeah, the next album is supposed to be called King Marshall right? From what I've heard he's dropping all that mtv shit... wont be any of that boy band/britney spears bashing bullshit, just gonna be a straight serious album.. I just wanna know if he'll have anything to say about some of the people who've been spittin' at him..

"Retailers expect U2, Eminem and Beyonce for Thanksgiving week, though Eminem's label, Interscope, wouldn't confirm the release. "Its kind of going back to that [Thanksgiving week] a couple of years ago," says Andrew Gyger, Virgin Entertainment Group's senior music product manager, referring to 2004, when Eminem, U2 and Gwen Stefani came out at around the same time. "That was ridiculous.""// If it is supposed to be released some time in November, that would mean the 1st single would be released next month. // Will we be in for a surprise at the VMA's?

I've seen t0talimm0rtalz all over this site, bashing anyone who is even semi-popular. He's just a scene kid who thinks he looks unique by praising an underground artist over a commercial one. Fucking idiot.

Lol, get a grip. Necro isn't even as good as his brother, I appreciate how you're trying to be anti-conformist and hop on some "underground" artist's nuts, but that is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Right up there with people calling ja rule, aesop rock or lil wayne the best rappers of all time. For the record, I was listening to Necro when you were still listening to sum 41.
