Bodies Without Organs, is a swedish musical group featuring Alexander Bard, Martin Rolinski and Marina Schiptjenko. Also connected to the band are Jean-Pierre Barda (from Army of Lovers) and Anders Hansson. The group has recently shortened its name to BWO.

BWO was formed in 2003. Martin Rolinski from Gothenburg, an unknown tennis talent, was suddenly found as a singer in the reality TV-show called Popstars. He didn’t win the competition, but he did win a lot of hearts later, with Bodies Without Organs.

Alexander Bard been thinking of doing another musical project - he had at the time been involved in bands like Army of Lovers, Alcazar and Vacuum during 20 years of his life. So when Alex was introduced to Martin, everything took its form and soon there was a band called BWO - Bodies Without Organs. Another person who also became a member in the band was Marina Schiptjenko, Alexander’s friend from his band Vacuum.

Their Last Album Fabricator released 2007-09-19 with 16 tracks!

BWO have recently announced a ‘Greatest Hits’ package to be released in spring/summer 2008 - including a DVD of all their videos. They will also be releasing a new dance mix of ‘Sunshine in The Rain’ as their first official UK single very soon…
