SAW 85-92 = best Aphex album yet. if it was nothing but xtal, ageispolis, heliosphan, we are the music makers, and pulsewidth, it still would be.

my dad bought this for me when i was 9 years old, i never listened to music the same after that. unreal album, every track strikes me heavily in some way or another, takes me to a mechanical city in the middle of the night, beautiful stuff. hearing xtal for the first time blew my mind

Sure, some tracks sound a bit dated but they still kick ass. Take Green Calx for example

I feel sorry for all the songs on this album besides Xtal. Each one is excellent but they are all overshadowed by Xtal which I feel is one of the most beautiful tracks and best peice of music I have ever heard in my life.

I absolutely love this album. The live version of Heliosphan from BDO was better in my opinion, however the version on the album fits better.

The first half of this album is flawless. Too many good songs to rank, but my favourite has to be Tha. Followed closely by Green Calx.

lol, i always skip the non-ambient tracks. haha. ie, schottkey, hedphelym and green calx. but still, the other tracks fucking rule.

Well, back, and now I have finally started to love this album. Ageispolis did it for me with the bass part.
