矢井田瞳 (Yaida Hitomi) is a Japanese folk rock singer/songwriter and guitarist. She often goes by the nickname Yaiko. She plays a kind of quirky vocal- centred rock akin to Rebecca, Nokko or 椎名林檎. She is often seen playing guitar in her videos.

I think that Yaiko's new album is her most experimental and non-commercial album yet and it takes quite a while to get used to. There are some songs I don't like but also some very good songs.
