    Linux doesn't save the login

    Everytime I start the client I need to go through the setup wizard, it seems that the client just doesn't store login. All other preferences are saved. I use Ubuntu 8.04, my client version is 1.5.0.26435

    The client stores your settings in ~/.config/Last.fm/Last.fm.conf

    Try renaming that file and start again.

    I found the problem. Your login info *is* being stored, but the client has a bug that causes it to go through the whole setup process anyway.

    Open the settings file, then add
    FirstRun=0
    under the [General] group.

    I'll send a patch upstream later today.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem (running Last.fm client 1.5.0.26435 on my Kubuntu 8.04).

    I followed mafflix's instructions and now it works fine!
