Multiple ipod users in v1.5.1, how to configure properly?

Since you guys failed to put in the Help section or in the Client FAQ?

Both iPods show up in both user's preferences window -- if it even changes per user (I can't tell). However, when I cleared one user's associations, when I switched to the other user and opened it again, there were still iPods listed there, so I can only assume each user gets their own preferences settings.

Not to mention, no user names actually show up in the User column of the iPod pref panel, so I don't know how they are really getting assigned or who to.

Seriously, check my account: been with Audioscobbler-then-Lastfm since 2003 and it pains me to think you still can't get this software right. :(
