RSS feed of loved tracks

  • RSS feed of loved tracks

I'd like an rss feed of loved tracks, so when I mark a track as loved it will show up in (for example) twitter, with an auto-generated tinyurl to that song/artist on last.fm.

It'd be a great way to drive traffic to the site, and it's much less noisy than following someone's now playing feed.

I've created a loved tracks RSS service at:
    http://jamazon.co.uk/web/2008/06/30/lastfm-loved-tracks-rss-feed/

Works great with twitterfeed for updating twitter every time you love a track.

feel free to use it until an official feed becomes available.

  • I can't understand why Lastfm don't provide a loved tracks RSS feed as standard. In the meantime Jamie's last.love service works very nicely.

I created a Yahoo! Pipe for loved tracks. It includes image thumbnails and you can specify how many tracks to include (up to 50).

Just type in your Last.fm user name and press the button. You can get the feed as RSS and you can even add the list to your site/blog/Facebook/whatever, by selecting the "Get as a badge" option after running the pipe.
