Yep, have to agree with the previous comment. I noticed that the sound drifted 'in and out', even the drums (thought Nicko would be having a right go at someone). Never happened in any of the previous Maiden gigs I've attended, maybe it had something to do with the venue. Although, I can't complain at all. Over a week later, I'm still in bliss!

I like how Rod Smallwood claims, in his latest diary entry, that not only did they pay special attention to the sound and made sure that it would be great, but that it actually WAS great throughout the stadium. I don't know what gig he went to but I couldn't hear any guitars except during solos for the first hour or so.

AndreMMJesus: Are you asking for the actual set list or just want someone to let you know what order they played the songs in? Sorry if thats a stupid question :S

AstarothCY: one of the outside stands at the c gate hadnt a fucking clue we were queing for hours waiting for them to open and when they finally did they were all getting the wrong shirts and having to go back and get the right one they were getting the wrong sizes and having to find the right ones, they were putting iron maiden labels up with the prices and one of them stood there for like half an hour decided where the label goes and then he finally realised its iron maiden playing today not bon jovi, daft twat, and after all that we only needed to que for an hour and we were in the place. we must have been at the merch stall for over 2 hours, fucking pathetic. i think they were just picked up off the street on the morning.

Simply Amazing! Just got into them at the start of this year and was in awe at how superb they were on the night. Definitely the highlight of my year!

I went to the merch stand inside the stadium as soon as the gig ended and asked for 4 different t-shirts in large size and the woman there had no idea where anything was. She was looking around obviously not knowing where to look and after a few seconds just gave up and said there weren't any left. I couldn't believe how unorganised and unhelpful they were. She even had the nerve to tell me that I should go to the bigger stand outside after she wasted 15 minutes of my time. At least the people in the stand outside were a lot more helpful, was in and out with everything i wanted in about 5 minutes.

It's taken me 3 days, but I have to say that was the best gig I've been to. Got right to the front, slightly to the left, and the atmosphere was INCREDIBLE. Best crowd Bruce had seen for a while too. :D

Yeah, I was asking for a t-shirt and the woman couldn't count across to the 6th shirt from the left, I had to bloody lean over and point at it.

Anyone know if they put the tour posters on the eddie merch thing? The guys selling the merch were a fucking joke, talk about cheap labour.

and the sound was spot on up front.... an woooo, was 3rd on th barrier, my mate got first to the barrier off the fan club (which i am in aswell) an we got up there just after a dude from norway.. right in the middle. MAIDEN FOREVER! p.s A7X stoped playing coz of an injery about 30 rows from the front, the singer dude pointed it out to the medics and official dudes down the front an stoped the gig so they could get to them. just to clear that up for everyone lolz.

Performance wise it was the best Maiden gig yet. A7X were much better than I was expecting too so that was handy. "It's getting dark init? Might see some bats, maybe an albatross" XD
